Beiroa

Retrosaria Rosa Pomar Beiroa is a worsted weight single ply yarn, made exclusively from the wool of Serra da Estrela Sheep, called Bordaleira.

Its dark "speckles" are obtained by manually adding flecks of natural brown fleece during the spinning process.

It's a great choice for sweaters, cardigans and hats. Excellent for colorwork and cables.

It is entirely sourced and milled in the Estrela mountains in Portugal.

The entire process—from sheep to wool—takes place in Portugal.
