Vovó Natural by Retrosaria Rosa Pomar is a special edition of the well-known Vovó yarn, dyed with natural plant-based dyes.
Vovó Natural is a breed-specific yarn from the Campaniça sheep.
The following dyes were used for the dyeing process:
N01 - Sappan Wood
N03 - Rubia Tinctorum
N04 - Marigold
N05 - Acacia Catechu
N06 - Pomegranate Peel
N07 - Mulberry Leaf
All shades are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, guaranteeing that no harmful substances were used during the dyeing process.
The entire process—from sheep to wool—takes place in Portugal.

Note!
Due to the nature of the dyes, it's very important to take extra care to keep the colors vibrant.
Always hand-wash your swatch and finished garments in cold water with a mild detergent and let them dry flat, away from direct sunlight. Do not use detergent containing sodium perborate, as this will bleach the natural dye.
Store these skeins away from direct sunlight. As with all dyed yarns, color variations may occur between different dye lots.
Vovó is a pet name, derived from the Portuguese word for grandmother (avó).
